Welcome to the ISC-Systems Engineering and Operations (SEO) website. For your services, we protect your assets by providing a variety of solutions for your business challenges.

In addition to managing mainframe applications, SEO supports many midrange based server options such as AIX, LINUX and Windows. We provide quality services in backup and recovery, disaster recovery, data center facilities management, virtual managed services, and infrastructure support. SEO is ready to work with your School or Center to develop highly available systems fully protected and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the calendar year.

Groups

Computer & Data Center Operations provides 24/7/365 Data Center Operations Management and Support. We also feature Facilities Planning and Management, and Storage Management. The Data Center utilizes the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology to ensure low cost alternatives to meet business requirements. Support Services focuses on high performance and availability of key University administrative systems. We ensure system compliance through upgrades associated with maintenance releases and security patches to applications, operating systems and databases; monitoring and performance tuning; 24/7 support and problem resolution; and system documentation protocols. Infrastructure Assurance maintains ISC's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs and implements strategic initiatives associated with securing the University’s administrative systems such as the Back-IT-UP service for data backups over PennNet. Infrastructure Development evaluates and implements new technology solutions in support of the University administrative systems. We are dedicated to creative planning, design and implementation of solutions to meet each client’s individual requirements. Our services include administration of Linux, Windows and virtual systems as well as network engineering and database administration.
