Physical Hosting
Physical hosting services allows University schools and centers to house equipment in ISCs secure, highly available Data Center designed to provide the infrastructure necessary to meet client requirements. Clients have the option of using the Fully Managed or the Facilities Managed portion of the Data Center for their physical hosting needs.
Services for the Fully Managed space include Hardware Support:

  • Cabling
  • Local and remote KVM access
  • Hardware installations
  • Decommissions and recycling
  • Disk drive destruction
  • Break/fix hardware remediation
  • Upgrades

  • Documentation pertaining to floor layout, racks and cabling

  • Under floor water detection

  • Security card swipe access and CCTV monitoring
  • 24x7x365 monitoring of electrical and environmental systems
  • 24x7x365 on-site operations staff for emergency contact
  • Customer notification of any facility related incidents
